The WWF Global Organization
In 1961, 16 of the world's leading conservationists, including biologist and African wildlife enthusiast Sir Julian Huxley, IUCN vice president Sir Peter Scott and director-general of the British Nature Conservancy E. M. Nicholson signed the Morges Manifesto establishing the World Wildlife Fund as the organization through which they would raise funds to support the world's conservation movement.
WWF is now present in 100 countries, with 5 million supporters globally and mobilizes close to 150 million Euros in funding to support conservation work around the world.
