World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Communication Specialist (CS) for the GEF-UNDP funded project “Towards Joint Integrated, Ecosystem-based Management of the Pacific Central American Coastal Large Marine Ecosystem (PACA), based in our office in Guatemala. We are looking to hire a passionate, creative, and dedicated professional, always willing to push the boundaries, a great team player and overall, a good human being, who understands and appreciates the value of leading by example.
The main responsibility of this person is to ensure that key stakeholders receive vital information about the purpose and development of the project and closely collaborate with the Knowledge Management Specialist to ensure the prompt implementation of the project´s communication strategy and that all communications use inclusive and gender-sensitive language. This person will closely coordinate with WWF Mesoamerica´s Senior Communication Officer and serve as part of WWF Mesoamerica´s Communications team.
