Main Function
To provide expert advice and leadership in advocating WWF’s policy positions and investments related to conservation finance. The role will involve research, reporting, writing, and advisory functions on complex sociopolitical and economic issues to better guide development and execution of a potential Project Finance for Permanence initiative (PFP) for Belize and more broadly, WWF’s in-country conservation actions. Monitors and reports on significant political, social, economic, commercial, business and environmental developments, with a focus on implications for Belize. Maintains and develops an extensive range of contacts and performs representational duties as required, in close coordination with WWF’s PFP Team.
