From April 24 to 28, 2023, an induction and training workshop was held in Valle de Ángeles, Francisco Morazán, Honduras, to strengthen the capacities of the Interagency Task Force against Environmental Crime (FTIA) staff.

- Concepts on sustainable forest management, forest industry, timber legality and forest sector governance, as well as their importance for the sustainability of Honduras' forests.
- Good practices and skills of the technical staff for the supervision of forest management activities, with a focus on the prevention and control of illegal exploitation and the promotion of legal forestry activities.
- Control operations to verify, evaluate and monitor the collection, transport and trade of forest products and the role of the Interinstitutional Task Force in these activities.
- Field practice on sustainable forest management and technical audits.
