La Iniciativa de Arrecifes Saludables para Gente Saludable The Healthy Reefs for Healthy People Initiative (HRHPI) (www.healthyreefs.org) está realizando una encuesta sobre percepciones ambientales entre diversos grupos de la región centroamericana. Pretende recabar datos sobre cómo percibimos el Arrecife, sus valores ecológicos y económicos y las amenazas que enfrenta.
También nos ayudará a adaptar nuestro trabajo para asistir de una mejor manera a aquellos que están trabajando directamente en el manejo sostenible del arrecife. No le tomará más de cinco minutos de su tiempo completar la encuesta. Agradeceremos enormemente su participación.
Este pequeño cuestionario será realizado cada ciertos años para mejorar la comprensión sobre cómo la gente percibe, entiende y valora el arrecife y también para medir la efectividad de nuestros esfuerzos educacionales.

The Healthy Reefs for Healthy People Initiative (HRHPI) is conducting an environmental perceptions survey with diverse stakeholder groups across the region. This SHORT survey will be repeated once every few years in order to improve our understanding of how various stakeholders perceive, understand, and value the reef - and also gauge the effectiveness of our outreach and educational efforts.
It will also help us to tailor our work to better assist those of you who are working directly in the sustainable management of the reef. Completing the survey should take no more than five to seven minutes of your time. We would greatly appreciate your participation.
